HYPERAMS Announces Huge Multi-Day Online Auctions of Minster Presses and More

HYPERAMS, LLC announced the multi-day online auctions of automotive component manufacturers Dura Automotive and Shiloh Industries will take place in September 2021. The Dura auction, a two-day online event, is offering six Minster presses, from 150 tons to 600 tons, major stamping and roll forming equipment, secondary equipment, and items from the maintenance and tool and die shop of the company’s Moberly, Missouri plant. HYPERAMS previously conducted the highly successful auction of excess assets from Dura’s Milan and Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; Stockton, Illinois; and Auburn Hills, Michigan plants.

In addition, HYPERAMS is conducting a complete facility auction of Shiloh Industries’ Roseville, Michigan plant. The online auction is featuring press feed and coil equipment, CNC vertical machining center, surface grinders, vertical milling machines, milling and drilling machines, radial arm drill, saws, lathe, fabrication equipment, quality control equipment, plant support equipment, and much more. Eight Minster press lines (from 300 tons to 1,200 tons) are currently under contract.

“Interested buyers should not miss this auction, which has great selection of stamping presses, OBI presses, roll forming lines, roll formers, riveters, spot welders, and much more at the Moberly plant,” said HYPERAMS Director of Auction Services Burdette Wilber.

Chief Operating and Financial Officer Bob Pabst concurred, noting the online auction is an opportunity for businesses to acquire high-quality, high-cost equipment at auction prices. “The extraordinary offering of Minster stamping presses from both auctions has been very well-received by the market. In fact, we’ve already accepted pre-sale offers on all eight of the presses in the Shiloh auction, and we anticipate all six Minster presses in the Dura auction will be sold, as well.”

HYPERAMS is conducting the online auctions through major industrial auction platform Bidspotter. The Dura auction will be a two-day event September 9-10, 2021. Bidding starts closing each day at 10:00 AM CST. Inspections will be held September 7 and 8 by appointment only. The Shiloh online auction will be held September 29, 2021, with bidding starting to close at 10:00 AM CST. Inspections will be held September 28 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM CST.
