HYPERAMS, in partnership with Cincinnati Industrial Auctioneers (“CIA”), recently completed a live and webcast auction of Busch Precision in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The auction exceeded sales expectations, due in part to a significant turnout of competitive onsite and online bidders. HYPERAMS reported that, in total, over 600 people registered for the two-day auction event, with approximately 150 bidders participating onsite.
The auction featured almost 1,650 lots of late-model precision machining equipment, including CNC turning centers, boring mills, and grinders, as well as plant support and facility items, such as rolling stock, cabinets, tools, and boom lifts. HYPERAMS Director of Auction Services Burdette Wilber noted the live and webcast auction was considered “one of the premier auction events of 2017.”
