David joined the HYPERAMS team as Managing Director of Auction Services in 2022. David, who founded the New York-based auction house Blackbird Asset Services, LLC, brings extensive auction experience to the team. He is a Certified Equipment Appraiser (CEA) as designated by the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers (AMEA), and is a graduate of the Auction Marketing Institute. He is also a member of various trade organizations including: Industrial Auctioneers Association (IAA - current board member); the National Auctioneers Association (NAA); the New York State Auctioneers Association (NYSAA); the Turnaround Management Association (TMA - current board member, UNY Chapter); the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI); and the Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA).
David's specialties include auction sales of "inside the factory" manufacturing and/or process equipment, and all types of real property. He also conducts certified USPAP compliant valuations of industrial machinery and equipment for companies and secured creditors alike. David is also an expert witness in various matters relating to auction sales, foreclosure sales and proving "commercially reasonable" sale matters.
